Bob Leek and the Clark County Digital Services Team are being honored in Category 2: Delivering Excellence in Digital Services for transforming ClarkCountyNV.gov into a modern, citizen-centered digital platform that makes it easier for residents, businesses, employees, and visitors to access essential government services. By replacing an outdated content management system with a unified digital experience, the team consolidated content from more than 40 departments, 3,500 web pages, and 28,000 digital assets into a single platform with consistent branding, intuitive navigation, and streamlined access to county services. Their work has modernized Clark County's digital infrastructure while creating a more accessible, efficient, and trusted online experience.

The team successfully launched the new website in just nine months as part of the county's broader 360 Program, delivering measurable improvements in both performance and usability. Within the first 15 days, the site served more than 900,000 visitors without interruption, achieved a perfect 100 PageSpeed performance score, and earned a 93% accessibility score. Lighthouse scores also improved from 73 to 100 for desktop users and 58 to 100 for mobile users. In addition, more than 120 county employees were trained to manage website content, reducing reliance on outside vendors and enabling departments to publish timely information more efficiently.

 

The impact of the modernization extends well beyond a new website. By expanding digital self-service, reducing paper-based processes, and creating a scalable platform for future innovation, Bob Leek and his team have made it easier for 2.4 million residents and 40 million annual visitors to find information and complete important tasks online. Their citizen-first approach has strengthened public trust, improved operational efficiency, and established a sustainable digital foundation that will continue to enhance government service delivery for years to come.
