Mia Jordan is being honored in Category 3: Using Innovation, Data, and Breaking Down Organizational Barriers for helping government agencies modernize through collaboration and proven technology solutions. As an Industry Advisor at Salesforce and a former federal CIO, Mia bridges the gap between government and industry by connecting agencies with successful, real-world implementations rather than requiring each organization to build solutions from scratch.

In 2025, Mia expanded a federal Community of Practice that brought together more than 20 agencies to share reusable code, implementation strategies, and lessons learned. She also worked with Salesforce product teams to develop prebuilt AI-enabled service components tailored to public sector needs while ensuring solutions met government security, policy, and operational requirements. By fostering collaboration among agencies, technologists, and vendors, she helped accelerate modernization and reduce duplication across government.
