Leveraging the VA-owned Data Arch platform, Dr. Relova eliminated the need for clinicians to search across separate systems for PGx data. Her innovation reduced turnaround times from 10–14 days to just 1–2 days, enabling faster, safer, and more effective prescribing tailored to each Veteran’s genetic profile.

Already serving over 121,000 Veterans and 10,000+ providers, this advancement is reducing side effects, eliminating trial-and-error prescribing, and improving clinician satisfaction. With implementation underway at 147 VA medical centers, Dr. Relova’s work is transforming care delivery, placing Veterans at the center of informed, individualized treatment.
